Chris Pratt is shocked by the attention he has received in Hollywood over the past 10 years.
The 35-year-old actor admits he didn’t expect to be as successful as he has become but he feels grateful for everything that has come his way.
Speaking to ‘CNN’, he said: "You know, I feel like, jeez, it’s been cool, it’s been really cool. I came to Hollywood expecting to do everything but not really knowing what that looked like, so I was just as excited when I got my first commercial as I am now, you know what I mean?
"I have enjoyed this entire journey, the whole time I have been at this for 15 years. My enthusiasm has been turned up to 10 since about 2001 when I didn’t have to be a waiter anymore."
Meanwhile, Pratt’s wife Anna Faris – who has a successful movie career of her own – admits she is "so lucky" to have him and is proud of his achievements.
She said previously: "I’m so proud of him! He’s been away, so that part’s been hard – he’s shooting ‘Jurassic World’ right now in New Orleans and our baby’s not quite two yet. But it’s exciting! I’m like, ‘My husband’s a movie star! What happened? How did I get so lucky? Does he still like me?’ "
