Chris O’Dowd’s baby will be born in the US.
The 35-year-old actor, who comes from Ireland, and his wife Dawn O’Porter are currently residing in Los Angeles for work commitments and are planning to welcome their first child into the world in California too.
Speaking to the Irish Evening Herald newspaper, Dawn, 35, said: "We’re having our baby in America definitely, but I don’t know where we’re going to be living in five years. It’s nice that we travel all the time and we love living in LA. That’s totally home. But London or Ireland is also another opportunity."
The couple announced their baby news in August during a video clip of Chris’ ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
Upon completing the challenge, which involves pouring a bucket of icy cold water over his head to raise awareness and funds for Lou Gehrig’s disease, the hunk said: "I’d like to nominate Richard Ayoade, Graham Linehan and Baby O’Porter. So brave."
He then panned the camera over to TV presenter Dawn, who shrieked as she poured a small glass of ice cubes and water over her obvious baby bump.
The pair, who met through mutual friends at the brunette beauty’s 30th birthday party in Los Angeles, tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in June 2012.
