Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow enjoyed a spa day together on Sunday (21.12.14).
The former couple – who announced they were separating in March after over nine years of marriage – enjoyed an afternoon of pampering with their children Apple, 10, and eight-year-old Moses at New York’s i-Plaza Nail & Spa.
An onlooker told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: "They seemed very affectionate toward each other. They were laughing a lot, making jokes, and Chris even had his arm around Gwyneth."
The whole family enjoyed relaxing massages and the 37-year-old Coldplay frontman kept everyone entertained by dancing and singing along to the festive music playing in the salon while they waited for Apple to finish her manicure.
While it is unknown how much the family enjoyed their beauty treatments, a nail artist who previously treated Gwyneth, 42, recently revealed the ‘Iron Man 3’ actress made "orgasmic noises" when she had a pedicure.
Sophy Robson said: "When I was working at the nail bar, a couple of celebrities used to come in and the one that really left me star-struck was Gwyneth Paltrow.
"I was really nervous and I remember doing her pedicure and thinking, ‘I’ve got Gwyneth Paltrow’s foot in my hand!’ Somehow I managed to keep my cool. It helped that she was really nice too, although I was giving her a foot massage and she was making all these orgasmic noises."
