Chris Hemsworth is desperate to start work on ‘Thor: Ragnarok’.
The Australian actor has reprised his role as the hammer-wielding in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ but has been "hounding" Marvel President Kevin Feige about his third stand-alone movie.
Kevin said: "’Thor 3′ is being scripted right now and I think we get a draft soon. Particularly [Chris] Hemsworth is hounding me during this junket so I’m going to push the writers [Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost] to hurry."
Up next in early development for Marvel is ‘Black Panther’, which will reportedly star Andy Serkis and Chadwick Boseman.
Speaking of the 2018 movie, Kevin told /FILM: "’Black Panther’ same thing. I have some director meetings set in the next few weeks once [‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’] gets out the door. And casting is already underway in many ways. Some of which you know about, some of which you don’t."
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ had originally been scheduled for release in July 2017, but has been pushed back to November of that year because of the studio’s collaboration with Sony on a new ‘Spider-Man’ movie, which was announced after Marvel unveiled their phase 3 slate.
In addition, ‘Black Panther’ will now be released on July 6, 2018, the ‘Captain Marvel’ movie has been rescheduled for November 2, 2018, with ‘Inhumans’ being pushed to July 12, 2019.
