Chris Evans to be CBeebies Bedtime Story reader

Chris Evans will be one of ‘CBeebies Bedtime Story’ readers.
The 35-year-old ‘Captain America’ star will be reading Shelley Becker’s and Eda Kaban’s ‘Even Superheroes Have Bad Days’ for the childrne’s programme, and is one of many A-list celebrities who have taken part in the TV programme.
He said: "I’m honoured to be the next guest on ‘CBeebies Bedtime Stories’ which is such a special show. I hope families have as much fun watching as I had reading."
Other celebrities who have taken part in the programme include Tom Hardy, Isla Fisher, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Emilia Fox, Damian Lewis, David Tennant, Rosamund Pike, Tim Peake, Nadiya Hussain, Warwick Davis, Derek Jacobi, Maxine Peake, James McAvoy and David Hasselhoff.
‘Even Superheroes Have Bad Days’ aims at helping children cope when they’re feeling overwhelmed and the Marvel hero will be reading the story on May 10.
Chris is currently filming ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ but as his contract is coming to an end ‘Avengers 4’ could be his last film as ‘Captain America’.
In an appearance on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ on Monday (03.04.17) Chris was asked if the two upcoming ‘Avengers’ films would be his last outings as Captain America, to which he replied: "It is. My contract is up. I have ‘Avengers’ three and four, we do ‘Avengers 3’ now and four is the latter part of the year, then after that, that is the end of my contract …They’ve been filming since February, I don’t start until May, there are so many people involved."
The Hollywood hunk previously admitted he wanted to take on less acting jobs in the future so he could focus on directing but he will be starring in new Lionsgate movie ‘Jekyll’ based on Steven Moffatt’s BBC series of the same name starring James Nesbitt.
