Chris Evans is thankful to Marvel

Chris Evans says working for Marvel has been the "biggest blessing" in his life.

The 32-year-old actor – who recently hit the big screen as the titular superhero in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ – insists starring in the superhero films has changed "the game" for him and he is extremely grateful for that.

Talking to Collider.com, he said: "I have a six movie contract with Marvel and I absolutely plan on fulfilling them. This is without a doubt the biggest blessing in my life. Marvel has literally changed the game for me."

Evans – who first worked for Marvel when he played Johnny Storm in the ‘Fantastic Four’ films – is preparing for ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’, which is due for release in 2015, and although he is careful not to reveal too many details regarding the plot he claims the script is "great".

He explained: "Every time I’ve read a Marvel script they surpass it. You read it and you think this is going to be great. And then they make it and it’s even better. The script is great. If that’s any indication I think we’re in a for a great movie."
