Chris Brown drops song after prison release

Chris Brown dropped a new song just hours after he was released from prison on Wednesday (31.08.16).
The 27-year-old singer was charged with assault with a deadly weapon following a stand-off at his home in Tarzana, Los Angeles, in the early hours of Tuesday (30.08.16) morning, but it seems he’s not letting his legal woes get to him as he revealed his track ‘What Would You Do’ shortly after he was freed from jail on a $250,000 bail.
Taking to his Twitter account just after his release, the rapper shared a link to his Soundcloud account and accompanied it with the simple caption: "MUSIC!!!! (sic)."
Chris hinted that he was about to drop a new tune earlier that day on his Instagram account when he uploaded a short video of him standing topless addressing his criminal drama.
He said in the nine-second clip: "Yo. You know all this bull-s**t that’s been going on man? I’m just going to turn my cheek and drop some new music."
It’s not known when the star penned the track but the lyrics appear to address his 11-hour stand-off with police.
He sings in the upbeat anthem: "What do you do? Fighting for your life and no one’s on your side
"I can’t stand to lose/ You see you’re in too deep and don’t know where to hide/ I got a question: What would you do?"
The ‘Loyal’ hitmaker was detained by officers earlier this week after beauty queen Baylee Curran claimed he pointed a gun at her during an argument at his home.
Following the long stand-off outside his home, Chris is said to have thrown a duffel bag out of a window, with police seizing drugs and a firearm from within the abode.
Despite the reports, Chris has not been charged with any drug-related offences at time of publish.
Chris – who has a two-year-old daughter Royalty with Nia Guzman – has denied the allegations against him.
