Chloe-Jasmine Whichello and her fiance Stevi Ritchie have split – just months before their wedding.
The 24-year-old model and the 35-year-old entertainer met as contestants on ‘The X Factor’ in 2014 and were due to tie the knot in July.
But according to Mirror Online, a statement released today (18.04.16) on behalf of the couple said they were taking time apart due to "busy work schedules".
But allegations have since emerged that their relationship became "toxic".
A source added: "Chloe has decided to end her engagement.
"The relationship became abusive and volatile causing her to heavily relapse into alcohol abuse. She had to get out of the relationship. It became very toxic."
During Chloe’s time in the CBB house she revealed her history of alcoholism saying: "I am addicted to alcohol, if I smell it I can go nuts."
A rep for Chloe confirmed to the publication: "Chloe and Stevi are taking a break due to busy work schedules."
The pair, who hit back at claims their relationship was a "showmance", were last spotted having dinner at Kiru restaurant in London last Thursday (14.04.16).
Since meeting on ‘The X Factor’, the pair enjoyed a rollercoaster relationship, which included starring on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2015, where they managed to make the final but were evicted in fifth place.
Several high-profile celebrity guests, including ‘X Factor’ judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini were reportedly due to attend the pair’s July nuptials.
