Chloe Grace Moretz joins Suspiria

Chloe Grace Moretz will star alongside Tilda Swinton and Dakota Johnson in ‘Suspiria’.
The 19-year-old actress has joined the cast of the classic horror remake, which will be helmed by ‘A Bigger Splash’ director Luca Guadagnino, Variety reports.
The original movie tells the story of ballet student Suzy, who wins a place at a renowned German academy only to notice numerous disappearances and deaths on campus before she soon discovers that the town is filled with witches.
Amazon Studios has acquired the worldwide distribution rights for the upcoming motion picture, and David Kajganich is writing the script.
‘Suspiria’ – a Latin word for "sighs" – was first released in 1977, directed by Dario Argento and starred Jessica Harper as Suzy.
The original movie was set in the town of Freiburg, however, Guadagnino has moved the setting to Berlin.
The Italian filmmaker confirmed earlier this year that Swinton and Johnson were on board for the remake, and admitted he wants the movie to be the "ultimate horror experience".
He added: "’Suspiria’ is a longtime project of mine. Suspiria is really about trying to get to the ultimate horror experience for an audience, to do something that makes them jump in the seat the way I felt I jumped in the seat for the first time during a movie like ‘The Shining’ or ‘The Exorcist’.
"I know this sounds over the top and a bit arrogant from my end, but I at least want to try to make people have the same thrill that I had when I saw my first Dario Argento movie.
"I saw it when I was 14, in the mid-’80s, and it was such a ride. I want to offer a ride into dance, motherhood, witchcraft. We’ll see."
