Chloe Grace Moretz distances herself from I Love You, Daddy

Chloe Grace has refused to do any publicity for her new movie ‘I Love You, Daddy’, following sexual misconduct allegations made against her co-star Louis C.K.
On Thursday (09.11.17), the 50-year-old comedian faced a number of historic sexual misconduct allegations after five women claimed he either asked to masturbate in front of them or did the act without their consent, The New York Times reports.
Moretz, 20, starred alongside the comedian in the indie film, which follows ageing filmmaker Leslie Goodwin (John Malkovich) develop a romantic interest in her alter ego China Topher, the 17-year-old daughter of Louis’ character.
Now, the actress has confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that she decided two weeks ago she was pulling out from promotional duties for the movie after becoming aware of the potential allegations.
In the new movie, one character pretends to masturbate at length in front of other people, and other characters appear to dismiss any rumours of any sexual misconduct.
The premiere was also cancelled and distributor The Orchard said in a statement: "In light of the allegations concerning Louis C.K. referenced in today’s New York Times, we are cancelling tonight’s premiere of ‘I Love You, Daddy’. There is never a place for the behaviour detailed in these allegations. As a result, we are giving careful consideration to the timing and release of the film and continuing to review the situation."
FX Networks also issued a statement revealing they haven’t received any allegations of "misconduct" by the comedian on any of the five shows produced with him.
They wrote: "We are obviously very troubled by the allegations about Louis C.K. published in The New York Times today.
"The network has received no allegations of misconduct by Louis C.K. related to any of our five shows produced together over the past eight years."
Some of the women claiming to have been victims of the sexual misconduct include comedians Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov which date back to 2002.
