Chiwetel Ejiofor’s ‘tough’ Doctor Strange shoot

Chiwetel Ejiofor has admitted that making ‘Doctor Strange’ was "tough".
The 39-year-old actor stars as Baron Mordo in the Marvel movie, opposite Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton and Mads Mikkelsen and while he loved working with the cast, he admitted that they could have used more time to film it.
He told Collider: "It was a lot of fun, actually. It was tough because even though we had like half a year to make it, it definitely felt like we were always pushed. There was a lot of stuff in this movie and a lot of stuff to get done, but it was a great cast. I couldn’t imagine a better cast for this film and if I could cherry pick people I love working with and love watching, it’s all the people in this movie. That was just a great experience for me, so I had a lot of fun."
Benedict fought off competition from Ethan Hawke and others to claim the title role and is confident the film will be a success, observing that Marvel has an unrivaled ability to bring lesser-known characters to life.
He previously said: "I don’t think it’s a risk because of Marvel.
"Marvel is a stable of bringing out ordinary comic characters and turning them into screen-like gods."
The Scott Derrickson-directed movie, is due out in November 2016 and producer Kevin Feige recently explained: "We will take audiences through a sort of a guide to the multiverse, other dimensions, and there are amazing things out there – wonders that are going to be hopefully visually extremely interesting and unique to this movie."
