Cheryl Tweedy comforted emotional Oti Mabuse

Cheryl Tweedy comforted Oti Mabuse after she locked herself in a toilet and cried after having to choose her three final acts for ‘The Greatest Dancer’.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional barricaded herself in a loo and could only be coaxed out by co-star Cheryl after she struggled to say goodbye to some of her acts on the BBC dance show.
Oti told the Daily Mirror: "The eliminations were so hard for me. It took me about an hour to come out as I was crying in the bathroom and I didn’t want to do it.
"Choosing the acts was great but it was saying ‘no’ which was horrible. It was Cheryl who sat me down and had a talk with me and calmed me down."
However, Oti is excited about the live shows which start on Saturday (02.02.19) as she no longer has to choose who gets eliminated.
She said: "They are different because I don’t have to say ‘no’ to anyone. I just want to enjoy the show and the acts. I love the entire top nine.
"I’m ambitious. I think one of my acts should win ‘The Greatest Dancer’. They work really hard and I believe in them that they have something very special.
"I absolutely feel protective over all of them. I feel responsible. When you are on Strictly, you get a celebrity and you have to calm them down, but that’s one person.
"Now you have the responsibility of three acts and some are children."
Cheryl agrees that Oti is competitive but says her co-star gets away with it because she is "cute".
She recently said: "I love Oti. But she is way more competitive than me.
"She was the one stealing acts off of the table and hiding them from us.
"The thing is, she is so cute she gets away with it.
"Me and Mathew Morrison loved more of the same people and fought it out more to be honest."
