Cheryl Cole has dropped her surname from her Twitter handle a week after her wedding.
The ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ hitmaker married her French boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in a secret ceremony last week, and she has fueled speculation she could be taking his name.
The star’s name on the micro-blogging website – and her Instagram account – has changed from @CherylCole to @CherylOfficial just seven days after the big day.
Born Cheryl Tweedy, she took her ex-husband Ashley Cole’s surname when they got married in 2006, but she didn’t change it back after their divorce four years later.
However, after her second wedding it seems she could be ready to finally drop her former flame’s moniker.
Revealing the news of her and Jean-Bernard’s wedding, she posting to Instagram to "stop the speculation".
She wrote: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news… Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14.. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.. (sic)."
