Cher heads back into the studio to record new music

Cher has been recording new music.
The 70-year-old music legend spent Sunday (14.08.16) in the studio laying down to tracks, although it is unclear if Cher is recording the tracks for a new album or whether they are for another project.
taking to her Twitter account, she revealed: "Just walked out of studio. Had blast ,put two songs down. Was Dead from fittings Wish I Could go in jeans & high heels,BUT SHADE IS BURR (cold) (sic)"
The ‘Believe’ hitmaker had a very busy weekend working as on Saturday (13.08.16) she spent the afternoon getting fitted for stage outfits following a morning spent working out to ensure she is in top shape for her concerts.
She tweeted: "I’m tired. Worked out, fit clothes 4 Hills gigs,4 half my adult life, sang,& then fell on my bed. (sic)"
Cher has been complaining on the social media site about how
hard it has been for her to get back in shape after relaxing her fitness routine while on vacation.
She posted on Twitter: "COURSE NEED EXTRA YARDS 2COVER NEWLY AQUIRED BUTT WORKING 2GET BACK 2 MY 2CANTALOUPE BUTT BUT SO MUCH WORK LATELY.#ITWASVAYCAY (sic)"
If Cher’s new songs are for another album it would mean she is bringing out her first studio LP since 2013’s ‘Closer to the Truth’ – which was her 25th album and also spawned her ‘Dressed to Kill’ tour in 2014.
If the tracks are not the sign of a new record it is possible that they could be part of a long planned musical of the musician’s life.
Cher announced back in 2012 that she planned make a Broadway musical that featured three different actresses playing her at various points in her career, and the fourth incarnation may be played by herself.
Last year, Cher was still working on the script with Rick Elice.
