Charlotte Crosby set for Gogglebox spin-off Geordie Reacts

Charlotte Crosby is set to star in a new ‘Gogglebox’-style show for MTV.
The 28-year-old reality star – who is best known for appearing in ‘Geordie Shore’ – is in line to front new series ‘Geordie Reacts’, an upcoming show along with Chloe Ferry and other new members which will see the cast giving their "outrageous" opinions on television.
A source told The Sun Online: "As far as MTV are concerned it’s the more the merrier when it comes to the Geordies and taking on the ‘Gogglebox’ format is going to be amazing TV.
"They recruited Charlotte to take part along with Chloe Ferry and some of the new cast. They’ve started filming and it’s likely to air later this year.
"Just like ‘Gogglebox’, they will watch TV and give their opinions on it – and knowing the stars they’ve got on board, it’s going to be outrageous."
Following the popularity of ‘Geordie Shore’ – which follows a group of lads and lasses as they party it up in Newcastle-upon-Tyne – MTV bosses also have requested for some of the beloved cast to take part in the new series called ‘Geordie More’.
A source previously revealed how Charlotte, Marnie Simpson, Gaz Beadle and Aaron Chalmers had been signed up as producers knew fans wanted to follow up on their favourite faces.
A source said: "MTV bosses wanted to give ‘Geordie Shore’ fans an update about their favourite stars so have created a spin off.
"The show will follow the stars in their lives now and update fans on what they’re doing.
"Marnie is running her beauty empire and Gaz is a first timed dad – so there’s plenty to talk about."
Charlotte also won ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2013 and kicked off her own reality series – ‘The Charlotte Show’ – last year.
‘Geordie Reacts’ is to air in the summer.
