Charley Webb hits back at online trolls

Charley Webb has hit back at vile online trolls who targeted her sons.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star told cruel social media users to keep their opinions to themselves after they claimed her two eldest sons – Buster, nine, and three-year-old Bowie – "looked like girls" because of their long hair.
In an interview with MailOnline, she said: "I just don’t have time for anyone like that. I always find it so bizarre that anyone could be negative towards someone they don’t know, especially someone’s children."
Charley – who plays Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap – believes that people should be more responsible about what they say on social media.
She added: "I sort of think people should think more about what they’re saying on social media. I mean, kids are growing up with social media being a part of their lives and it terrifies me that people are taking their own lives just from someone sat behind a computer they never met."
Although she has opened up on it now, the 31-year-old actress admitted usually she would rather ignore the nasty comments.
She explained: "I don’t tend to speak out much about it because part of me thinks when you do, you’re sort of giving them what they want, giving them some sort of reaction. I’d rather not react."
Charley is currently on maternity leave from ‘Emmerdale’, having giving birth to her third son, Ace Gene, in July and last month she revealed she finds it "bizarre" that some social media users feel the need to comment on how she cares for her kids.
She said at the time: "These people comment just to get a response. I find that so bizarre and I don’t respond. I don’t think anyone’s life is perfect but we’re all just doing our best as parents."
