Charley Webb gets emotional putting kids to bed on New Year’s Eve

Charley Webb gets "so emotional" when she puts her children to bed on New Year’s Eve.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actress – who has sons Buster, nine, Bowie, four, and Ace, five months, with co-star and husband Matthew Wolfenden – shared a clip on social media after saying goodnight to her youngest boy as 2019 came to an end.
Revealing she meant to post the Instagram video sooner, Charley – who plays Debbie Dingle on the show – added: "I always feel so emotional putting the kids to bed on NYE."
In the touching clip, the 31-year-old star admitted it felt strange putting Ace to bed for the final time of the year.
She said: "So Ace is going down for the last time in 2019, the year he was born – that feels so weird.
"And it’s the end of the decade! My little baba!"
Charley was also reunited with her on-screen mum Emma Atkins – who plays Charity Dingle – on New Year’s Eve (31.12.19) as the pair welcomed 2020 together with their loved ones.
She shared a sweet snap of the pair – including Emma’s new hairstyle – and wrote: "HNY from us (and her new bob)."
Several of their co-stars commented on the photo, including Chas Dingle actress Lucy Pargeter.
She said: "Hot mamas right there! Love you."
And Louisa Clein – who played Maya Stepney from March 2018 until November last year – added: "Love you both!"
Charley recently turned to social media to help her resolve a birthday dilemma as she looked for a specific gift for Bowie for his fourth birthday on December 18th.
She wrote at the time: "Searched for a Henry Danger costume everywhere for Bowie’s birthday. They are all in America. Anyone know where to get one? Probably not, but still, worth the ask. (sic)"
Charley was subsequently pointed in the direction of Amazon, which is currently selling Henry Danger pyjamas – but she later explained that her boy had his heart set on the Henry Danger costume – not the PJs.
