Channing Tatum’s six month vegan diet

Channing Tatum tried going vegan for six months.
The ‘Magic Mike XXL’ star opted for a meat and dairy free diet for half a year at the request of his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum but had to give up as he doesn’t like vegetables.
Jenna revealed: "He really did try to be vegan for six months. The guy doesn’t like vegetables, which makes it tough. It was hard in the beginning because you want someone to be on the same page, but you’ve got to let people be themselves."
And the 35-year-old actress – who follows a vegan diet herself – says the secret to her great physique is "45-minute power workouts".
Speaking in the July/August issue of Women’s Health magazine, she added: "I love 45-minute power workouts. I get in, do my thing, and then I’m able to go pick up [my 3-year-old daughter] Everly from school. It gives me energy.
"I need somebody to motivate me. I like the motivation of having somebody watching over and giving me inspiration."
When it comes to losing weight, Channing also has his own perfect work out – looking after his three-year-old daughter Everly.
He said previously: "I have not worked out a day since we wrapped on ‘XXL’… Everly is great. The reason why I won’t be getting too fat is because I’m running around after her all the time. She was on her feet at nine months, so it’s a constant marathon. But she’s a wonderful kid. Life is good. I’m lucky."
And Channing admits fatherhood has changed his outlook on his own career.
He said: "Fatherhood is very much impacting on my choices. Now I think, ‘Is this job worth being away from them?’ I want to be there as much as I can. Home is the priority. I want to be up early in the morning to make sure my daughter is still sleeping. You don’t want to miss that. You don’t want to miss seeing that."
