Catherine Tyldesley’s husband praises her for holiday care

Catherine Tyldesley’s husband has thanked her for looking after him and their son after the pair fell ill on holiday.
Tom Pitfield took to Instagram to praise his significant other after he had to go to hospital while they were away, and she had to take their four-year-old son Alfie for "numerous visits to the doctor" – all after a 27-hour delay to their getaway.
He wrote: "It’s been quite the week. A 27 hour delay to start the holiday followed by the hospital for me and numerous visits to the Dr for Alf. Thank you so much @auntiecath17 for looking after us, always scary in a foreign country. Couple of days left to reclaim a holiday. It’s amazing what sand in between your toes and sun on your face can do for recovery."
Catherine didn’t reference the holiday directly, but also took to the photo-sharing site to admit she feels so "blessed" and "grateful" while spending time with her boy, and said she is "consumed" by him when he is unwell.
She wrote: "A Moment of Pure Gratitude. From the moment they placed you upon my chest, and you looked up at me with your beautiful big eyes. You had me. I love you. I love the bones of you. The smell of you. I could lose myself in that sweet smell for days. When you laugh my heart feels fit to burst. When you sing with me my soul shines brighter than you could imagine. When you cry my heart bleeds. When you’re poorly I am consumed by you- nothing else matters. Not a single thing.
You, my son are the greatest blessing to me and all around you. You light up this world with your kind heart and your awesome, hilarious sense of humour. I’ve got you baby boy. Always. Thankyou for understanding me. Thankyou for supporting me. Our souls are so connected. My best friend. What a honour is motherhood. What power. #blessed #grateful for this time. So precious (sic)"
And something else Catherine holds close to her heart is ‘Coronation Street’, following her seven-year stint on the show.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star – whose character Eva Price was last seen on screen in August 2018 – still feels "so grateful" to the ITV soap.
She wrote: "It’s been a year since my last scene on #Corrie … and what a year it’s been! So grateful. On this day – big love to my Corrie fam! #alwaysinmyheart @coronationstreet (sic)"
