Catherine Tyldesley’s gig fails to sell out

Catherine Tyldesley has only managed to sell 113 tickets for her debut concert.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress will give a one-off performance at The Quays Theatre in Manchester on December 3, but so far sales have been extremely slow with 346 tickets still available.
A source told the Sun on Sunday: "You’d have expected far more tickets to have shifted by now. But the reception has been lukewarm.
"It’s a concern for the team at the theatre, who aren’t keen on letting the show go ahead with a lot of empty seats."
However, Catherine’s agent insisted more tickets will sell once they start promoting the gig more.
He said: "Once people know about the show we are confident that ticket sales will be given a significant boost."
Catherine released a single ‘Rise’ last month but it failed to break into the top 100 of the UK charts.
She is also planning to release an album in November and the star – who welcomed son Alfie with husband Tom Pitfield in March 2015 – admitted it is difficult to find time for everything.
She said: "I’ve always sang since I was a kid. I used to sing in-between acting work. You know what I thought, ‘I’m really missing this’. It’s so lovely.
"It is hard. But when the music stuff started happening, I was like, ‘I want Alfie to be at everything’. We do it as a family."
