Catherine Tyldesley misses Coronation Street cast

Catherine Tyldesley misses "the people" most after leaving ‘Coronation Street’.
The former cobbles star – who played Eva Price for seven years until her exit last year – admitted while she’s glad to still be in contact with her former castmates, it does make her miss working on the soap.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’ on Tuesday (10.09.19), she explained: "I think it’s the people, the cast and the crew, because they’re a big family.
"We all stay in touch… I think it’s the people [I miss most], because we do stay in touch."
The 35-year-old actress also reiterated her stance on a ‘Corrie’ comeback at some point in the future.
She said: "Absolutely, I love the show, so never say never."
Although Catherine knows she made the right choice for her family, she admitted earlier this month she would be interested in reprising her role as Eva if the opportunity came at the right time.
She recently said: "I’d love to at some point. I do get a little pang now and again. But it was the right thing to do for my family.
"I’m often able to do the school run now, which is lovely because of the age Alfie is. That’s one of the reasons I turned a lot of things down last year.
"He was starting pre-school and I thought [that] I don’t want to look back and feel I missed that section of his life."
And despite being nervous about the future when she quit ‘Corrie’, Catherine was optimistic about finding work and now finds it even scarier turning down jobs, though she knows it’s the right thing to do.
She revealed: "I’m really into positive thinking and just always thought that good things would happen. Luckily I can sing, so if I had to sing for my supper again, it’s OK, I could do that!
"What is nerve-wracking, though, is turning things down. In the past I’ve done things I probably shouldn’t have. Now I’m older, if it doesn’t feel right I don’t do it."
