Catherine Tyldesley has put up her Christmas tree 41 days before the big day.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star is so "obsessed" with Christmas she has erected her festive trunk already, just under six weeks before Santa Claus makes his arrival.
She shared a picture of her tree on her Instagram account, and added the caption: "I don’t care that we’re early!! Im obsessed with #christmas !! When our gorgeous friends @perfectweddings_alt can do THIS… why not?!?! Absolutely thrilled to bits with our #decorations guys!! Thankyou so much!!! Roll on #Christmas ! Highly recommend @perfectweddings_alt for helping to make your home / work place sparkle!! (sic)"
Catherine and her husband Tom Pitfield always make a tradition of putting up the perennial plant with their three-year-old son Alfie.
She added: "We always have a big tree that we do ourselves with Alfie, but the rest of the house in these pics is down to these guys! (sic)"
While Catherine is a huge fan of Christmas trees, she isn’t a big lover of sleeping among real trees after recently admitting she had politely declined her family’s proposition to go camping, and instead upgraded the plan to a glamping trip.
She recently tweeted: "My boys want to go camping… obvs I’m mortified. So I’m meeting them half way… recommendations for #Glamping up North please?!?! (sic)"
What’s more, she is even less of a fan of creepy crawlies, and took to Twitter to reassure her supporters she will not be appearing on this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
She tweeted: "Just to shoot down the rumours… I’m NOT going in the jungle guys. I mean come on?! I’d be TERRIFIED and pretty terrible at those challenges!! Hats off to all those brave enough! (sic)"
