Carrie Underwood ‘honoured’ and ‘blessed’ as she ends Las Vegas residency

Carrie Underwood felt “honoured” and “blessed” as she ended her three-year Las Vegas residency.

The country singer kicked off her ‘Reflection’ shows at the Resorts World Theatre in Sin City in December 2021 and she brought the run to an end on Saturday night (12.04.25) after 72 performances over three years – and she became emotional as she told the crowd how thankful she felt at the end of the residency.

According to PEOPLE, Carrie said: “We are extremely blessed to be able to be on this stage. There are so many turns of events I know in my life, and I’m sure in these guys’ lives, that only God could have opened those doors and got me to the next place.

“It’s been really incredible to be on that roller coaster ride, and definitely recognize that it’s all Him and just all blessings. It has been an absolute honor to get to be on this stage. From all of us, we are so blessed. I’m gonna be reflecting on all that we’ve done here with you guys.”

Carrie closed the show with a performance of her 2014 track ‘Something in the Water’ and as she made her exit, she said: “Thank you again for coming to ‘Reflection’.

“It has been an honor and a privilege, and a pleasure and a blessing to get to be in this stage.”

Carrie previously admitted she enjoyed being able to perform regularly in the same venue because it gave her more freedom than when she’s touring.

She told PEOPLE: “I have always loved touring, but having the chance to play for an extended period of time in one place has really been satisfying – I love that we get to do this show for people who have come to Las Vegas from all over the world.

“We always like to bring big production values to our show, but Reflection really allowed us to take that to a new level.

“We have some amazing set pieces that we could never pack onto trucks and move from city to city every night, and it’s been really fun adding more elements like the aerialists and dancers, which we don’t usually have in the show.”
