Caroline Flack is "even more excited" for ‘The X Factor’ after Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw were confirmed as judges.

The ‘Love Island’ presenter – who will co-present the ITV singing contest with ‘Troublemaker’ singer Olly Murs – is glad music mogul Simon Cowell has changed the competition around as she thinks it will make for a better show.

"Rita is one of the biggest selling artists, she’s lovely, she’s been on the show before, she knows it and she loves it which is great."

Simon Cowell, 55, has also shown his excitement about the show’s revamp and new panel, stating he is "really happy" in a series of messages on Twitter.

He wrote: "The best kept secret in TV is out!! But I am really happy with the new judging line up for XFactor this year. Its going to be a lot of fun
