Caroline Flack always brushes her teeth before she goes on air.
The 34-year-old presenter – who has fronted various ITV2 shows such as ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here NOW!’ and ‘The Xtra Factor’ – still gets nervous before filming and is conscious of cleaning her teeth before she appears on TV because she believes having fresh gnashers helps her talk "more clearly".
She told Star magazine: "I always brush my teeth before I go on air. I don’t know why. I think I can talk more clearly."
Asked if her brushing was part of her ‘Xtra Factor’ routine, she added: "Oh, I always brushed my teeth before that."
Although Caroline is yet to open talks about reprising her spot on ‘The X Factor’ spin-off show, she isn’t too concerned as boss Simon Cowell always leaves things until the last minute and she is currently busy working on ‘Viral Tap’ with Matt Richardson.
Caroline – who previously dated One Direction hunk Harry Styles -revealed: "We haven’t even had that conversation yet (about ‘Xtra Factor’. But it’s like that every year, so it’s nice that we’ve got this project [‘Viral Tap’] to work on together.
"It’s a topical show hosted by moi and three comedians. I’d describe it as a mix between ‘You’ve Been Framed’ and ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’. It’s a fun new concept … I thought the other day, ‘This is a lot of pressure’. But change is healthy, if I find I’m not nervous something will go wrong."
