Cara Delevingne wants a cameo role in ‘Coronation Street’.
The 22-year-old model – who is also trying to make a name for herself in the music industry – has confessed to being a huge fan of the soap and has reportedly asked her agent to set her up with a guest role on the ITV series.
A source said: "Cara loves Corrie and would like nothing more than to appear on the show.
"She never misses an episode no matter where she is in the world.
"She’s got so much going on at the moment with her modelling. Plus she’s trying to make it as a singer. But Cara doesn’t want a serious acting role, she’s just told them she’d love to just make a short appearance, even if it’s just for a charity event."
Although Cara’s team are worried a role on ‘Coronation Street’ "wouldn’t suit her image", the blonde beauty – who previously starred in the 19th century drama ‘Anna Karenina’ – is certain she wants to appear on the show
The source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Her people are wary because they think her being in the show wouldn’t suit her image.
"It’s funny because people would expect her to be more into shows like Downton Abbey, but it’s Corrie that she loves. Cara knows all the characters and loves the dramatic storylines."
