Cara Delevingne to star in Carnival Row

Cara Delevingne is set to star in ‘Carnival Row’.
The 25-year-old actress and model has signed up to the eight-episode Amazon Original Series, where she will play a faerish refugee that runs away from her war-torn homeland to come to the Burgue, where she faces prejudice against her kind and is carrying her own secrets.
The eight-episode series will be produced by Legendary Television whilst showrunner René Echevarria will write and executive produce. Joining him will be Travis Beacham, who will serve as executive producer. Beachem also wrote the feature script on which the project is based called ‘A Killing on Carnival Row’. Paul McGuigan will direct and executive produce, with the series scheduled to begin filming in the next few months ahead of a 2019 release.
‘Carnival Row’ is set in a neo-Victorian city and follows the story of mythical creatures, who are fleeing their homeland and heading to the city. However, tensions have started to rise between the citizens and the immigrant population. And with a string of unsolved murders in the forefront of everyone’s minds, the tensions continue to rise.
‘Carnival Row’ is set to be available using the Amazon Prime Video app for TVs, connected devices including Fire TV and mobile devices, or online at www.amazon.co.uk/primevideo.
The series will be a global release for members to watch via the Prime Video app online at Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories.
