Cara De La Hoyde is expecting a baby girl

Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey are expecting a baby girl.
The ‘Love Island’ 2016 winners – who tied the knot in June last year and have two-year-old son Freddie-George together – will welcome their second child into the world this summer and found out the gender of their unborn tot with the help of Minnie Mouse while they were away on a Caribbean cruise.
Nathan said: "We went away with MagicBreaks on the Disney cruise and we asked if Mickey and Minnie Mouse would be able to tell us if we’re having a boy or a girl.
"The next thing we know, Minnie, Mickey and Pluto were all there – and either Minnie or Mickey had to step forward, depending on if we were having a boy or a girl.
"We closed our eyes and when we opened them, Minnie was standing there in front of us. Cara screamed the place down."
The couple admitted the news was a "massive shock" because they were convinced they were expecting another boy, but they couldn’t be happier.
Cara told New! magazine: "In our heads, it was a boy. We really wanted a girl, so we thought, ‘If it’s a boy, we’ll be like, "Oh yeah, cool." But if it’s a girl, we’ll wet our pants.’ And that’s what happened."
Nathan added: "I honestly thought we were having another boy, so it was a massive shock having a girl.
"It’s perfect, we’ve got one of each so it’s the complete family, really."
Meanwhile, Cara has gone back on anti-depressants after finding herself slipping "into [her] hole" while isolating at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She said: "It was quite big because it’s usually Nath or my mum telling me to [go back on them].
"I noticed the signs of slipping back into my hole, as I call it.
"I spoke to the doctor on the phone. It was so I’m not stressed all the time, and Nath’s not walking on eggshells.
"My mum worries about me, so it’s nice that everyone knows I’m on medication.
"A lot of women have been messaging me with the same issue.
"I told them to consult their doctor, but it’s nice that I’ve got a platform to reassure people."
Nathan added: "It’s a mixture of everything – lockdown and being pregnant.
"I noticed it, but she knows it herself."
