Captain Marvel’s first trailer teases new Marvel movie

The first ‘Captain Marvel’ trailer has been released.
The long-awaited Marvel trailer – which features Brie Larson in the iconic role – made its debut on ‘Good Morning America’ and has given fans an insight into what they can expect from the upcoming superhero movie.
The dramatic clip, which lasts for just under two minutes, opens with Captain Marvel, the alter ego of US Air Force pilot Carol Danvers, falling from the sky and crashing through a building.
The movie is set in the 90s and the scenes in the trailer show Brie’s on-screen character in a variety of high-octane moments, including riding on the roof of a moving train as she finds herself in the midst of an alien invasion.
Later in the trailer, Captain Marvel experiences numerous flashbacks to her younger years as she tries to piece her life together.
Samuel L Jackson – who stars as Nick Fury – and Jude Law – who plays the role of Carol’s mentor – also make brief appearances in the clips.
And the tension-filled trailer ends with Captain Marvel saying: "I’m not what you think I am."
‘Captain Marvel’ producer Nate Moore recently gave fans an insight into what they should expect from the film, saying it won’t be like the typical origin story.
He explained: "I think there is a structure to origin films that audiences sometimes can get ahead of very quickly. So, if we do origin films, internally, we talk about how we can subvert that structure.
"For instance, ‘Captain Marvel’ is an origin movie in that you haven’t seen her before. But we think we’ve stumbled upon a structure there that isn’t the traditional structure of what origin movies typically are."
