Camila Cabello won’t live in a bubble

Camila Cabello doesn’t live in a "bubble" like a pop star.
The ‘Never Be The Same’ hitmaker feels it is important for her to always stay "super close" to her family or she fears things will get "lonely, fragile and dishonest".
She said: "I don’t live my life like a pop star. That is what I do, but not what I am. I don’t isolate myself in an untouchable bubble, because that’s where things get lonely, fragile and dishonest. I’m super close to my family. You just saw my mum putting on my belt."
And Camila avoids social media most of the time because she worries about being berated for saying the wrong thing or making a mistake.
She added: "That’s why I barely go on social media. There’s no way to live life without making mistakes or saying the wrong thing. I’m not going to live like some perfect pop singer. I’m a human, and the inhuman part of this is public scrutiny. I want to stay away from anything that makes me think I can’t live my life the way everybody else does."
And the 20-year-old singer has learned about the importance of "standing up for herself" from a a young age.
She told The Sunday Times’ Culture magazine: "When you’re young and don’t know a lot about the industry, it can feel like you have to do things or you’ll get in trouble. It’s just about standing up for yourself, being able to say, ‘I’m not comfortable with this’ – and, whatever the consequences, take them."
