Calvin Harris buys $15 million Beverly Hills home

Calvin Harris has bought a $15 million home.

The 30-year-old DJ has splashed out on a lavish 10-bedroom, 11-bathroom mansion, which is set in 2.66 acres in the exclusive Beverly Hills area in California, reports Variety.com.

The property also comes with a three-car garage, staff quarters, two guest houses, one of which comes complete with a spa, and a swimming pool.

Calvin’s new million-pound purchase follows revelations that the singer raked in an estimated $110 million over 2013 and 2014.

Despite the property’s hefty price tag, the ‘We Are Not Alone’ hitmaker will have had no problems affording the property as he was recently named the highest paid DJ in the world after earning $66 million in 12 months.

The Scot scooped the title for the second consecutive year after topping Forbes’ Electronic Cash Kings list with his huge earnings, $20 million more than he earned to reach the summit last year.

Putting his success partly down to luck, the modest music mixer told Forbes: "The rise of dance music has been astronomical in the last three years. I happened to be in the right place at the right time."
