Callum Macleod get dumped from Love Island

Callum Macleod has been dumped from the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The 28-year-old aircraft engineer has become the first contestant to get the boot from the sun-soaked love shack after no one picked him to partner up with in the show’s second re-coupling in Friday (07.06.19) night’s episode.
He said after getting the axe: "I came here to find my wife and obviously I have not found her but I’m still young so hopefully I’ll find her very soon."
The Welsh hunk was originally coupled up with Amber Gill but the pair failed to bond on an intellectual level so she dumped him for Anton Danyluk.
The 21-year-old beauty therapist said of the Scottish gym owner: "I would like to couple up with this guy because we have good banter together, we bounce off each other and we have a good friendship.
"I would like to keep him so he has the opportunity to meet someone."
Despite being over the moon that he has at least another few days in the villa thanks to Amber, Anton was no doubt devastated that Anna Vakili picked Sherif Lanre as he was hoping to win her over with his light-hearted jokes.
Amber wasn’t the only one to pick someone based on friendship as Yewande Biala decided to couple up with Michael Griffiths again out of pure loyalty.
She said of the heavily-tattooed hunk: "We started off really shaky but every day I feel like I’m getting to know him more and more."
Amy Hart has been getting to know new boy Curtis Pritchard over the last few days since he chose to recouple with her earlier this week – and it seems they could be heading for true love as the professional dancer’s head wasn’t swayed by new girl Molly-Mae Hague, even though she invited him into the hot tub for a date.
The air hostess said of the hunk: "He’s handsome, he’s funny, he treats me like an absolute princess. Coming into the villa, I thought I would be on the sidelines. I never thought I’d find someone this early."
Lucie Donlan had a difficult decision to make as she’s been locked in an emotional love triangle with Joe Garratt and Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy Fury.
However, despite feeling jealous when Molly took Tommy on a date, the surfer-turned-model chose to re-couple with Joe again as she can see a future with him.
She explained: "It’s been really hard because I’ve spent a lot of time with two guys in here who are completely different but have amazing points about them both. I’ve found it really hard to decide this evening. I’m very attracted to him and I think I could see a future with him. So the guy I would like to couple up with is Joe."
That left Molly with Callum or Tommy and she chose the latter as she wants to get to know him a bit better having only spent a few hours with him.
She said: "I would like to couple up with his guy because since coming into this villa he’s come up to me and ask if I’m OK. I just have to go with my gut."
