Cain Dingle will turn into a ‘Bridezilla’

Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle will turn into a "Bridezilla".

Jeff Hordley plays the character who is set to tie the knot to Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) on May 15 and insists his character has been stepping out his "comfort zone" to help plan the wedding and has become a controlling groom-to-be.

The actor explained: "This is all new territory for Cain, and it’s quite nice to see him out of his comfort zone. He’s been organising the wedding – something he’s never done before – so he’s turned into a bit of a Bridezilla!"

Jeff has hinted the big day might not run smoothly afterall and insisted there is always "trouble" at soap weddings since viewers enjoy watching drama unfold.

He told InsideSoap magazine: "If you get the right storyline and the right characters together, then the viewers will invest in their journey. Births, marriages and deaths all attract an audience. Families are bought together at a wedding, so there’s always trouble – and everybody likes a good punch up, don’t they?"

Cain and Moira’s romance kicked off in 2011, when she was still married to her late husband John (James Thornton), while Cain was previously jilted by Charity (Emma Atkins).
