Bushra Shaikh gets fired from The Apprentice

Bushra Shaikh has been fired from ‘The Apprentice’.
The 34-year-old fashion brand owner is the nineth contestant to get the boot from the reality TV show – and miss out on Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment – after she failed to impress in tonight’s (15.11.17) episode when her team lost the task.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Bushra said: "To sum it up, I’m feeling really positive about it all but I am a glass-full person so I’m really upbeat and positive. Of course I am a little bit sad because I thought I had a little bit more to give. There’s task 10 left and then the interview stage so I feel like I had the potential to get to those stages."
However, Lord Sugar didn’t seem that bothered to lose her when she fought her corner in the boardroom alongside Elizabeth McKenna and the project manager Sarah Jayne Clark.
The 70-year-old billionaire said: "Bushra, I’m a great believer in that saying ‘no smoke without fire’ and there has been lots of accusations by your colleagues that they have not seen anything from you, and it’s only been these last few hours that you have started to talk.
"Sarah, the brand name ‘Gourmet Crusaders’, whether you believe it or not, was pretty bad branding. You didn’t get it, and that worries me that you didn’t get it.
"Elizabeth, I seriously believe that you wholeheartedly throw yourself into the task and I know you mean well, but your enthusiasm sometimes is far too much for me to tolerate.
"I have to make a decision, and Elizabeth, I’m really struggling in visualising you as my business partner. But Bushra, I don’t think you’ve done much in these last nine weeks, and it is with regret that you’re fired."
Despite getting the boot, Bushra is adamant she won’t let his experience stop her from appearing on another show but, for now, wants to focus on her business at the moment.
