Bruno Tonioli to quit Dancing With the Stars?

Bruno Tonioli "doesn’t know" how long he’ll do ‘Dancing With the Stars’ for.
The 61-year-old Italian choreographer has sat on the US show’s judging panel since 2005 while juggling his job on the UK version ‘Strictly Come dancing’ around the same time but, although he’s constantly dealing with jet lag, he’s not ready to put down his paddle board just yet.
He explained: "I don’t know when I’ll leave, we take one season at a time.
"We’ll see, while I enjoy it. At the moment I do. I will do this season, I love the show but you have to take it a series at a time and see what happens. Watch this space."
And Bruno isn’t the only panellist who has been balancing both jobs as Len Goodman – who was head judge on the UK version – decided to walk away from the BBC series last year so that he could remain in Los Angeles and focus on ‘Dancing With the Stars’.
Bruno said: "I won’t miss Len from the UK version because I see him every week in America. I don’t miss him at all actually, jammy Len! It’s not easy, I understand Len’s decision. It’s very hard. He might as well stay in LA and play golf."
Meanwhile, although Bruno is busy with both shows, the eccentric star has admitted he’d love nothing more than to bring back ‘DanceX’ – a reality TV show that aired in 2007 – alongside Arlene Phillips because he feels there’s a gap in the market for it.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "We have to bring it back. I’m not a businessman but there is an area where we explored with that show that could be explored again. If they want me to do it then I’ll do it."
