Bruno Tonioli thinks Strictly romances are ‘wonderful’

Bruno Tonioli thinks the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ curse can be "wonderful".
The 63-year-old judge insists the relationships formed on the show should be seen as a "blessing" because it is always good to see "passion".
Asked if he believes in the so-called curse, he said: "I think it’s been created: sometimes it could be a blessing? I mean, people together and passion is a wonderful, wonderful thing!"
And Bruno thinks it’s common for relationships to form in the workplace so there is nothing different about it happening on the show.
He told Event magazine: "I love it that people are so involved, but it could happen in any situation where people work close together. It could happen in a factory, it could happen in an office.
"Chemistry is a huge part of how you’re going to perform. It doesn’t have to be for real: Fred and Ginger hated each other, but the chemistry was off the charts."
However, the Italian star claimed he and his fellow ‘Strictly’ judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Shirley Ballas – don’t talk about the contestants’ personal lives, such as when Seann Walsh was pictured kissing his married dance partner Katya Jones, because they are too busy.
He said: "We haven’t time to gossip. We turn up and it’s such an intense day when we get there. If the foundations are strong, usually houses stand still. Relationships are the same."
Meanwhile, when it comes to this year’s show, Bruno is backing YouTube vlogger Joe Sugg to win.
He said: "I like Joe Sugg. He never danced and he just keeps improving, and people respond to that."
