Bruno Mars: I ‘keep thinking’ about Prince

Bruno Mars "keeps thinking" about Prince.
The ‘Count on Me’ hitmaker admits he can’t stop thinking about the ‘Purple Rain’ singer, who tragically passed away in April this year from an accidental fentanyl overdose.
He said: "I don’t know why I keep thinking about Prince. He looked like he was in better shape than I ever was in my whole life, then it was gone."
And the 31-year-old singer knows only too well how fame can have an effect on people and sympathises with their plight.
He added: "You can become numb. You can start reading the things they’re saying about you. You fall into liquor and partying when you love the lights too much."
Bruno likes to keep out of the spotlight as much as possible, particularly when he goes out.
Speaking to The Times’ Culture magazine, he shared: "You’re damn right you don’t see me – I’m actually having a good time.
"If I’m having a good time, then a) I don’t want no one to know where the hell I am, and b) I’m probably too drunk to pick up the phone, take a selfie and go through all that."
Meanwhile, Bruno previously admitted he feels his hardships have made him who he is.
He shared: "My dad was just the king of finding these little spots for us to stay that we should never have been staying at … It didn’t have plants growing inside. I don’t know what happened to the roof. But the bed would be right there in the middle.
"We’d all sleep in one bed. We had each other, and it never felt like it was the end of the world. Maybe that’s why I have this mentality when it comes to the music. Because I know I’m going to figure it out, just give me some time."
