Brooklyn Beckham has a new "baby" – a spaniel named Fig.
The 19-year-old photographer – the son of David and Victoria Beckham – showed off his new canine companion on Instagram on Sunday (09.09.18) and he’s already smitten with the new addition to his household.
He wrote alongside one photo of him cuddling the black dog: "Meet my new baby [flower emoji] Fig Beckham (sic)"
Brooklyn shared a number of other posts on his Instagram Story of Fig cuddling into him, and another close up photo of the pooch out on the grass.
The teenager’s two younger brothers, Romeo, 16, and 13-year-old Cruz also shared photos of Fig.
Tagging Brooklyn in one picture, Romeo wrote: "Beautiful girl."
And in another, he shared a string of heart emojis and wrote: "Welcome to the family FIG."
Cruz shared a photo of Fig in the back of a car and, also tagging Brooklyn in his post, wrote: "Welcome to the family fig [heart emojis] (sic)"
While Fig seems to be Brooklyn’s dog, the family are known for their love of the animal and David and Victoria – who also have seven-year-old daughter Harper together – have a number of pet pooches.
They welcomed brown Cocker Spaniel Olive – who appeared with the family in their recent shoot for Vogue magazine – into the household in 2015, a new friend for their Shar-pei Barnaby and bulldogs Coco and Scarlet.
Olive has her own Instagram account, which boasts more than 70,000 followers.
