Brooklyn Beckham delays book release

Brooklyn Beckham has pushed back the release date of his book.
The 18-year-old aspiring photographer – who is the son of former soccer star David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham – was originally supposed to release his photography book ‘What I See’ on May 4, but has now announced it won’t hit shelves until almost two months later on June 29, as he wants to get his school exams out the way first.
Taking to Instagram on Friday (23.03.17) to share the news, Brooklyn wrote: "Happy to say my book’s now out on 29th June after exams are done! Excited to meet as many of you as I can at signings, dates and locations coming soon. 3 month countdown #whatisee – link for signed copies in bio! (sic)"
‘What I See’ is set to feature 300 pictures taken by the teenager and include some previously unseen snaps of him.
Publishers Penguin Random House said the book "offer his followers a rare glimpse at the world through his eyes".
As well as the photos, Brooklyn has also written the foreword and penned all the captions.
Francesca Dow, managing director of Penguin Random House Children’s, said: "Brooklyn Beckham’s images inspire a generation across the globe, and this book will give his fans a broader insight into the world seen through his unique and creative perspective."
And he’s not the only one of the Beckham siblings – which includes Brooklyn, as well as Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and five-year-old Harper – to have launched their career recently, as his younger brother Cruz released a Christmas single last year entitled ‘If Every Day Was Christmas’.
Despite being branded as pushy parents, retired soccer star David insisted Cruz – who signed with Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun to release his single in aid of charity – came up with the idea himself.
The 41-year-old star said previously: "The amazing thing about this, we only realised Cruz has a cute little voice about nine months ago. Scooter has been a family friend for a while, so he said to bring him in, see if he enjoys it.
"For us, we always want in our children, we always hope they’re listening to us or pay attention to us as parents, so we do a lot of work for charity for obviously Unicef and my wife does for the UN. And Cruz came to us and said ‘How about I do a Christmas song for charity? And all the proceeds go to charity.’ There’s nothing more to this than that at the moment.
"He’s 11-years-old, he’s still at school, he’s concentrating at school. That’s the most important thing. But he wanted to give back and he’s done this amazing little Christmas song that’s got a lot of attention. And you know we are very proud of it. He came to us with the idea. It’s kind of cool but he’s having fun."
Brooklyn’s book ‘What I See’ will now be available on June 29.
