Britain’s Prince Harry will attend trials for the Invictus Games.
The 31-year-old royal is set to make an appearance on the first day of the trials for the UK team at the University of Bath’s Sports Training Village, which takes place between Friday and Sunday.
A Team Bath spokesperson told the Bath Chronicle newspaper: "It’s great for us to have Prince Harry coming and watching some of the competition.
"And it’s great that we have a top class sports training village that can host those kind of events. We are really excited about having them all up there."
Meanwhile, Prince Harry – who founded the Paralympic-style sporting event for wounded soldiers in 2014 – previously spoke of his excitement at launching the second year of the Games.
He shared: "As I’ve continued to work with wounded servicemen and women, I regularly see the power of the soldiers’ stories to inspire others.
"For every competitor last September, there are hundreds of others around the world who would benefit from having the same opportunity. I wanted other cities and countries to look at the competition – what it meant to those taking part and those who saw it – and take up the challenge for the next Invictus Games."
