Brian McFadden has been put off having Botox after he tried it once and couldn’t move his face afterwards.
The former Westlife singer revealed he only had a "little" Botox done above his eyes after he saw his friend getting it done but has vowed he will never touch it again and will instead learn to "age gracefully".
Speaking to Woman magazine, Brian said: "I had Botox once. I had a little above my eyes, but my face wouldn’t move – I’m never doing it again. A friend of mine was getting it done – so I gave it a go. I looked weird.
"Yes, the wrinkles had gone from my forehead, but I looked like some of these people that I see in ‘The Only Way is Essex’, and they kind of look like a melted candle. No more Botox for me! I’m going to try and age gracefully now."
However, Brian won’t need to worry about ageing gracefully as he previously revealed his PE teacher girlfriend Danielle Parkinson makes him feel "very mature".
He said at the time: "I like a person for who they are, not what they do or where they are from. The fact that she’s not in the public eye means we get some privacy.
"We’ve been together over a year and it’s very serious. She’s my best mate and she makes me feel very mature."
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old singer – who has Molly, 16, and Lilly-Sue, 14, with his ex Kerry Katona – previously revealed he "definitely" wants more kids one day.
Asked if he wanted to expand his brood, Brian said: "Yeah I would like to definitely … When our kids were born we were on the road. I remember having the kids on the road, it’s a weird experience. Instead of picking them up from school and doing normal stuff you’re on a tour bus with them, you’re getting on planes. I loved to do the normal thing, you’re there every day, you’re taking them up from school, watch them grow up … you’re missing the great stuff."
