Brian May performed in pyjamas at a furniture shop

Brian May performed in his pyjamas at a furniture shop to film a music video for his singer pal Talia Dean.

The Queen rocker collaborated with the pop star on her single ‘You Made Your Bed’ and he made an appearance in the promo which was filmed at the Cobham Furniture store in Cobham, Surrey and he did it all in his nightwear.

Talia told the BBC Radio Surrey: “He’s such a good friend and a good person. If you say to him: ‘Look I’m filming a crazy video in a furniture shop where we’re all going to be bouncing on beds and causing chaos – are you up for it?’ He goes: ‘I’m in, tell me where and when and I’ll bring nine amps!’

“He plays the guitar the whole way through but then has a 16-bar absolute corker of a guitar solo in the middle, which isn’t done these days and he absolutely smashes it and rips and shreds through the song and I love it – and he does it in a pair of pyjamas.”

The single was released on Friday (08.11.24) and 10 per cent of the proceeds are going to the Crisis homelessness charity.

Talia added of the decision: “[It will] get people in beds over the winter … A lot of people end up homeless because of relationship breakdowns and being in toxic environments and having to flee.”

Brian previously opened up about the collaboration in a statement, saying: “I see this track as a very important marker in Talia’s career. It’s as if, in this song, she’s shaking off not just a relationship, but a whole way of life which she no longer wants to live.

“She and I are already working in the exciting new territory which this song predicts. But for now, this is song packed with pure naughtiness and fun, and makes me smile every time I hear it.”
