Bon Jovi team up with Robbie Williams on new version of We Made It Look Easy

Bon Jovi have released We Made It Look Easy featuring Robbie Williams.

Frontman Jon Bon Jovi, 63, has revealed he’s been a huge fan of the Angels hitmaker, 51, for some time, hailing him “one of the greatest entertainers, period”.

He said: “Robbie is one of the greatest entertainers, period. I’ve loved his music for years and I’m honoured to have him join me and the band on We Made It Look Easy. He’s lived this lyric. I knew he’d deliver.”

The collaboration is featured on Forever (Legendary Edition), a re-imagined version of Bon Jovi’s 2024 LP.

The first track to be released, Hollow Man, featured none other than fellow New Jersey rock icon Bruce Springsteen.

The Legendary Edition boasts a blockbuster lineup of guest stars, also including Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Carin León, Avril Lavigne, Joe Elliott, and Marcus King.

Following the release of Forever in June 2024, Jon Bon Jovi underwent intensive vocal cord surgery, which left him unable to tour or promote the record in the way the band had envisioned.

With live shows off the table and a highly personal album in hand, Jon turned to the next best thing: his extended musical family.

He said: “This album is more than just a collection of collaborations; it is an album borne out of necessity. My vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehab was a well-documented journey that played out while releasing Forever in June 2024.

“I was singing well enough in the studio for the recording, but the vocal demands and rigors of touring were still out of reach for me. Without the ability to tour or promote an album we were all very proud of, I decided to call on some friends to help me in my time of need.

“All are great singers, artists, and also just great people. The result is an album with a new viewpoint and new spirit – a collaboration album that proves we all get by in this world with a little help from our friends.

“I feel tremendous joy and gratitude releasing this album and I think it shows in the music. I can say with certainty that there is always something bigger than ME, and that’s WE.”

Forever (Legendary Edition) is released in full on October 24.
