Bobby Norris had a cancer scare after his mother was diagnosed with Leukaemia.
The ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star has confessed to finding a lump on his testicle after being told by doctors his mum, Kym, 55, was suffering from the disease.
The 28-year-old star is now urging others to regularly check themselves for tell tale signs.
He told The Sun newspaper: "The doctor said it was nothing to worry about. But now I check weekly in the shower because it’s just one of those things which is so important."
The ‘TOWIE’ favourite previously appeared on TV to launch a campaign #SaveBobbysMum to find a donor and found his life changed over night when someone came forward.
Bobby added he is hoping to track the donor down and thank them personally in a couple of years when the two year anonymity rule – which stops people from contacting their donors – has run out.
He said "[I’ll be] forever be in debt to them. Someone who has donated that for my mum has changed mine and my mum’s life."
