Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi revealed he wanted to bury the hatchet with ex-bandmate, drummer Bill Ward – sparking rumours of a big reunion.
Formed in 1968 by guitarist and main songwriter Iommi, bassist and main lyricist Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne and Ward.
The band had numerous line-up changes – with Iommi the only long-standing member – they took a hiatus in 1984 and reunited in 1997, and again in 2010. Amid the final tour, Iommi has reached out to fix the rift with Ward.
