Bill and Ted 3 ready to be made

Alex Winter has confirmed ‘Bill & Ted 3’ is being made.
The 51-year-old actor starred as Bill S. Preston Esq. in the previous two iconic comedy films, 1989’s ‘Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ and 1991’s ‘Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey’, and has now revealed that a script has been written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon who penned the previous two movies and the sequel is ready to go.
Alex was asked if there are plans to mark the 30th anniversary of cult teen vampire film ‘The Lost Boys’ – in which he starred with Kiefer Sutherland – and he spilled: "I’d be happy to do something if it was easy, but I’m so busy and it’s entirely possible I’ll be knee deep in ‘Bill & Ted 3’ around that time, so right now that’s got pole position … We have a script, we have a director, we have a studio – we’re just trying to nail down a start date."
The actor also confirmed that his co-star Keanu Reeves – who portrayed Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan – as you couldn’t make a ‘Bill & Ted’ movie without both of them.
He told Forbes magazine: "How the f**k would we make it if he wasn’t on board? People always ask if Keanu’s doing it and I’m like, ‘No, I’m making a Bill movie’. Of course he’s in it. I can’t make a ‘Bill & Ted’ movie without Keanu."
The original two movies – which spurned famous lines like such as "party on dudes" and "most excellent" – were a global box office success and spawned video games, a comic book, a short-lived TV series and a breakfast cereal.
