Big Narstie ‘listens to body’ after being hospitlised with exhaustion

Big Narstie has learned to "listen to his body" after he ended up in hospital with exhaustion.
The 33-year-old rapper was forced to pull out of ‘Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer’ earlier this year and was replaced by the Channel 4 show’s co-host Sandi Toksvig, after he nearly collapsed because he was so tired.
Now, the ‘Woah’ hitmaker maintains a "healthier body and lifestyle", which includes going to the gym and eating a balanced diet, to handle his busy schedule and avoid working himself too hard again.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I didn’t collapse, but I was suffering with exhaustion and ended up in hospital.
"I’ve learnt to listen to my body and maintain a healthier diet and lifestyle. Going to the gym and eating better has definitely helped me."
Since beginning training for an upcoming MMA fight in October, he’s noticed both "mental and physical benefits" and has started working with The Gym Group – who offer free memberships to students during exam time – because he thinks it’s a great way to combat stress.
He said: "Having recently started taking exercise seriously due to my upcoming MMA fight in October, I’ve noticed both the mental and physical benefits exercise has had on me and as a result the positive impact it’s had on my life.
"So, when I heard The Gym Group were giving away free six-week membership to 16-18-year olds this summer as a way to help with a stressful time in their lives – revision and exam.
"I wanted to get involved as I have a solid 16-18-year-old following so want to make sure exam time doesn’t overwhelm them."
