‘Big Brother’s Alex Cannon reportedly has a secret love child.
The 28-year-old hunk has just spent 48 days in front of the cameras 24 hours a day for the reality TV series, which concluded earlier this week, but failed to mention that he actually fathered a little one just before he entered the abode.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Alex wanted to keep his family life private, which is why is didn’t go public about being a dad on the show. He told a few housemates in private but it wasn’t picked up by viewers as he was talking in code."
The handsome star is no longer in a relationship with his baby’s mother but wanted to keep his secret under wraps because he didn’t want it to ruin the flirtatious banter he had with fellow housemate Evelyn Ellis while inside the abode.
The insider explained: "He wants to be a great dad and has a good relationship with the baby’s mum.
"But becoming a dad was a reason why he held back taking his romance with Evelyn to the next level."
Meanwhile, Alex’s new role may be the reason he’s decided to "friendzone" his best friend Vicky Pattison after she declared her love for him while he was inside the house.
And since Alex shot down Vicky’s declaration of love, she’s decided she doesn’t actually have feelings for him anymore.
The 28-year-old beauty said earlier this week: "Turns out I don’t really love him. He’s so amazing, he’s so brilliant. I think we’ve friend-zoned each other, it’s mutual."
