Beyonce postpones concert after being put on vocal rest

Beyoncé has postponed her concert on Wednesday (07.09.16) in New Jersey.
The 35-year-old singer has been forced to push back her upcoming gig at the MetLife Stadium for her ‘Formation World Tour’ by a month after she was placed on vocal rest by her doctor.
Beyoncé’s concert will now go ahead on October 7.
However, upcoming gigs in St. Louis, Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Nashville have not been affected and will take place as planned.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian West led the birthday tributes to Beyoncé on Sunday (04.09.16) by singing to her on Snapchat.
Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z – whose real name is Shawn Carter – marked the occasion at the Made in America festival, and a number of artists who performed at the Philadelphia music event mentioned Beyoncé’s big day.
Before performing, Chance the Rapper told the crowd: "Auntie it’s your birthday, happy birthday ‘Yonce."
Coldplay’s Chris Martin – who Beyoncé teamed up with on ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ – told the crowd: "We want to say happy birthday to Mrs. Carter who is out here somewhere. Can you believe she is 107 years old? Happy birthday Bey."
Mariah Carey also took to social media to wish "the beautiful Queen Bey" well on her big day.
The ‘Hero’ hitmaker wrote on Twitter: "Happy birthday to the beautiful Queen Bey! Lots of love and respect always, Mariah (sic)"
Elsewhere, DJ Khaled – who joined Beyoncé on her ‘Formation World Tour’ – wrote: "Happy bday beyonce. BLESS UP !!! (sic)"
Laverne Cox declared it "Happy Bey Day" and revealed she is addicted to Beyoncé’s song ‘Freedom’.
She wrote: "#HappyBeyDay Happy Birthday @Beyoncé I have been singing #Freedom all week. It just feels like we need this song right now. (sic)"
Jennifer Hudson also took to Instagram to share a picture of her ‘Dreamgirls’ co-star and wrote: "What better day to post this throw back , then on your bday ! Happy birthday beyoncé from one…(sic)"
