Beverley Knight, Mick Jagger and Ronny Wood record charity single

Beverley Knight, Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood have released a single ‘Look into Your Heart’ for Save The Children’s ‘Nepal Earthquake Appeal’.

The single, ‘Look Into Your Heart’, was produced by Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason and was written by songwriter Matt Clifford at Abbey Road Studios, and Rolling Stones’ Ronnie said he is "delighted" to have been involved in the song, singing backing vocals and playing guitar.

He said: "I am delighted that this recording made by us for Save the Children will help with the Nepal Appeal."

Speaking about the single, soul singer Beverley Knight who has provided the lead vocals admitted she just hopes the track will be able to raise some much-needed financial support for the victims of the earthquake, which killed thousands of people.

She explained: "The terrible events in Nepal show just how vulnerable our fellow man can be in the face of nature. My hope is that the proceeds of this song will go some way to help raise urgently needed funds to repair homes and restore lives."

As well as the stars, the track features a 100-person choir of Save the Children supporters who bid for the once in a lifetime chance to sing alongside the rock and soul legends at a charity auction.

‘Look into Your Heart’ is available for download now at www.apple.co./uk/itunes, with all profits going to Save the Children’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal.
